Photograph of the Douglas R4D taking off from Fleetwings Field. According to caption, the plane had arrived from Floyd Bennett Field, N.Y. and landed to avoid violent thunderstorms in the area. All the crew and passengers where given a free tour of the plant and free lunch in the company cafeteria.
