“Mr. and Mrs. William Carter, 314 Cedar Street, Bristol donated this scrapbook October 31, 2005. Ms. Carter was the funeral director who conducted the funeral of Marburg Weagley. Mr. Weagley was the owner of this scrapbook prior to his death July 31, 1981. Mr. and Mrs. Weagley lived at 121 Mulberry Street, Bristol. Mr. Weagley received a doctor of pharmacy degree from Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Sciences in 1918. He was the former owner of Fabian’s Pharmacy (Radcliffe and Mulberry Sts). Mr. Weagley purchased the pharmacy from the Fabians. Mr. Weagley operated the pharmacy until retirement in 1964 when the Schull family purchased it. In May 1998, it closed and was Bristol’s last privately owned pharmacy. It is not known where Mr. Weagley had gotten this scrapbook.”
